AquaCooly IK-V / IK-H

Cooling systems from 2.3 kW to 500 kW for indoor and outdoor installation

Systems of this size incorporate decades of experience in refrigeration engineering and modern production methods and set standards in economics and reliability. Fine tuning of cooling power and pump performance ensures a high degree of trouble-free operation.

Standard equipment includes an insulated water container, a built-in agitator to enhance heat extraction from the liquid, adjustable electronic controls with digital display and a malfunction alarm with fault indication. There is a neutral contact for a connection to external controls. The equipment can be supplied in numerous variations. Our flexibility in manufacture enables us to satisfy almost all customer requirements.

System featuring semi-hermetic motorised compressor

These are top of the range liquid recoolers manufactured by ETSCHEID. In principle the design corresponds with units with fully-hermetic motorised compressors. With semi- hermetic equipment it is possible to use the refrigeration system at ambient temperatures higher than 42°C. The compressors are particularly tough and are suitable for operation under extreme conditions.

Operation

The standard unit AquaCooly cools down the liquid to the desired temperature between 10°C and 25°C. In the insulated liquid storage tank a built-in agitator ensures a good mixing of the liquid and an intensive heat exchange. When the desired temperature is reached, the thermostat switches off. When the temperature of the fluid rises, the thermostat automatically switches on the cooling again. Thus, the temperature of the liquid remains constant.To control the temperature of the liquid you can read the value on the display.

Design variants of AquaCooly IK-V and IK-H

Besides the standard units IK-V and IK-H with air cooled condenser, following variations are also available:

  • units with a water cooled condenser for connection to a circulation water system
  • units with a flow evaporator
  • units with a radial fan for connection to an available ventilation system
  • units with noise reduction for use in laboratories for example

Over and above that our units can be supplied with accessories, e.g. with special pumps, special paint colour, in stainless steel, liquid circuit for corrosive agents, units with special voltage, units with a heating and much more....
