Cheese presses for cheese dairies

A cheese press is used to compress the excess whey from a fresh cheese. Generally cheese spoils more quickly through too much whey.

The cheese moulds which are filled with the fresh cheese curds are placed on a press table. Using weights to press the whey out of the curds often takes several hours. The curd solidifies and can be subsequently processed further.

Depending on the type of cheese and cheese moulds there are versions with two or three pressure pistons of which their pressing force varies. The pressing force can be changed manually between 50 - 150 kg depending on the model. The ETSCHEID cheese presses are manufactured entirely from stainless steel 1.4301.

Model with 3 pressure pistons

The Etscheid cheese press with 3 pressure pistons allows up to 50 kg force per pressure piston. The height of the press table is 55 cm. Size: 125 x 50 cm

Model with 2 pressure pistons

The Etscheid cheese press with 2 pressure pistons allows up to 150 kg force per pressure piston. The height of the press table is 55 cm. Size: 118 x 50 cm
